Reverencing God
Hebrews 11:27-28 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible. 28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
How ridicules to throw blood over your door case for protection from death.
By faith Moses and Israel did it, the rest is history.
II Kings 5:10-14 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. Now look at Naaman's response in 11&12!
I don't have to do that! Look what I'll look like to others! I'm better than that! I! I! I! Me! Me! Me! MY! MY! MY!
I do only great things for God! Let someone not as holy as Me do those little things!
Get baptized! I don't have to do that!
Mark 16:16 Jesus (YAHUSHUA) said, 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Speaking in tongues! I don't need that! Look how stupid those people look and sound, shaking (Shakers), quaking (Quakers), raising their hands to heaven, praying in the Holy Ghost! I'm not going to look and sound stupid for God! Look how that Eagle's Alarm people sing and play tambourines, how dare they say their praising God.
Who is perfect in here, and never gets chastened by God?
Hebrews 12:6 For whom Yahuweh loveth He chasten, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth.
Hebrews 12:1-29 READ
Hebrews 12:15-17 E'sau misses the blessing of promise Why? He held the promise of no value when it was to the satisfying of his flesh. Verse 15 talks of the grace (divine influence) of the Holy Spirit. Some people are caught in oppression of their past pain that leads to bitterness and as E'sau, could not go beyond the physical and physiological to the Faith of God's Word and Promise.
Father we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire. Let us rather choose to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Halle lu Yah Holy Spirit of God which we receive by the blood of the Lamb, Yahushua, Jesus.
